Come join local artist Elizabeth Palmisano and learn to create handmade paper using upcycled fibers. Elizabeth will walk you through the step-by-step process of creating your own paper that can later be used to draw on, paint on, or bind in a handmade journal. In this small group workshop, we will cover how to create create traditional, rectangular white paper as well as circular paper, and how to embed items in the paper as it forms to create interesting shapes and shadows.
Complimentary refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Elizabeth is happy to provide the materials needed for this class. Papermaking can get a bit messy! Feel free to bring an apron or smock, otherwise please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.
Who Should Take This Class?
This class is a great option for everyone ages 17+! No experience required.
$75 includes the cost of materials.
